Biography

Amanda Barton, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her medical qualification from West Virginia University and provides dedicated kidney care at Kidney Specialists PLLC.

In her role, Amanda assists in the ongoing management of kidney disease, with clinical interests that include chronic disease management and the care of patients with end-stage renal disease. She provides essential clinical support for patients with kidney-related conditions, working to ensure each individual receives a personalized treatment plan tailored to their specific needs.

Amanda’s care philosophy is grounded in empowerment and quality of life: “I am a compassionate practitioner who utilizes evidenced based care to promote overall health management while also focusing on quality of life and empowering patients to make informed decisions.”

Outside of medicine, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family. They can often be found camping, boating, fishing, and swimming, or taking trips to the beach. In her spare time, she also enjoys painting and reading.
