Dr. Salah Amjad joined KSPLLC in August 2019. He was born in Rawapindi, Pakistan and moved to America at a young age. He grew up Northern VA where he completed his education until high school. He completed his medical school education in Karachi, Pakistan at Baqai Medical University and moved back to the United States in 2011. He completed 1 yr of research at UCSF in the field of gastroenterology before entering medical training at Hofstra University Northwell Health Internal Medicine program. He was associate chief medical resident during his final year of internal medicine training and then moved on to pursue sub-speciality training in the field of Nephrology at VCU in Richmond, VA. While training at VCU, he also took care of our veterans at Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center. After completing nephrology fellowship, he moved to Winchester, VA to join Kidney Specialists PLLC in August 2019.

Dr. Amjad’s interests in nephrology include management of gloumerulonephritis, hypertension, APCKD, chronic kidney disease and end stage renal disease.

Dr. Amjad is married and is fluent in urdu and hindi. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, hiking, practicing archery and discovering new restaurants.
