Dr. Sonia Nasery joined KSPLLC in January 2020. She was born in Kabul, Afghanistan and moved to Peshawar in Pakistan at a young age with her family where she attended medical school. She immigrated to US and completed her internal medicine residnecy in New York at the Flushing Medical Center in 2017 followed by a 2 year nephrology fellowship at George Washington University in Washington DC in 2019. After completing her nephrology fellowship, she moved to Leesburg, VA to join Kidney Specialists PLLC in January 2020.

Dr. Nasery’s interests in nephrology include management of gloumerulonephritis, hypertension, chronic kidney disease and end stage renal disease.

Dr. Nasery is fluent in persian and urdu. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and visiting historic places and reading eastern literature.
