Dr. Diab joined our practice in April 2022. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Damascus University in Damascus, Syria, and finished his residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Barnabas Hospital, NY. After that, he completed his fellowship in Nephrology and Hypertension at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. He practiced nephrology in private practice in South Carolina, then in West Virginia until he joined the University of West Virginia in Morgantown as a faculty in 2016.

As an assistant professor at WVU, he was responsible for the clinical management of patients as well as teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. He is the author of many publications mainly covering inpatient care and new diagnostic tools, to help reaching early diagnosis and to implement the appropriate management.
