Dr. Abdel-Kader joined our practice in July 2023. He graduated from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Brown University in Rhode Island. Dr. Abdel-Kader completed his fellowship in Nephrology & Hypertension at the University of Pittsburgh as well as earning a master’s degree in medical education. He has practiced medicine in Pennsylvania and Tennessee prior to relocating to Virginia.

Dr. Abdel-Kader is passionate about training the future generation of physicians, clinical and population health research, serving as a reviewer for multiple medical journals, including serving on the editorial board for the Clinical Journey of the American Society of Nephrology.
